HOA Meeting Notes - 8/19/25

Thank you to everyone who came out last night! We had the biggest turnout in years, and it was great to see so many faces and good conversations happening. Here are the highlights:

Leadership:

• HUGE thank you to Shelly Gentry for volunteering to be our next HOA President!! Sarah will remain as President until her home sells and will ensure a smooth transition by supporting Shelly with everything she needs.

Budget & Dues:

• The new budget and increase in dues were discussed at length, and all questions/concerns were addressed. If you still have concerns, please email hoa@haleysmill.com and the board will get back to you ASAP.

  • Reminder: Annual HOA dues have increased to $550/year and will be due January 30, 2026.

Landscaping Updates

• Our new landscaping company, Red Bird, will begin work on September 1st. In the meantime, several neighbors have kindly stepped up to maintain the entrance area by mowing, weed-eating, and trimming shrubs. If you want to help, reach out to Michael or just jump in anytime—it’s much appreciated!

• Thank you to the neighbors who volunteered to join the Landscaping and Architectural Committee with Michael!

Bylaw Reminders:

• The bylaws have been updated based on our community vote. The updated bylaws can be found at haleysmill.com/about-3

• We will start enforcing the bylaws and sending violation letters on September 1st.

• If you notice a violation, you can report it anonymously through the online form on haleysmill.com (must login to see form) or by emailing hoa@haleysmill.com
